I had mentioned to Daphne that I was going to be doing a layout featuring beach huts, and so she very kindly brought along to the crop with her, her lovely wave border punch and the strip of beach hut paper behind my beach huts - thanks Daphne!
Despite having to bundle up and scrunch into such a little shed, we had a lot of fun, and it was a lot more memorable than the sunny days that we had also enjoyed that week!

Oh yes, I can remember that layout! You had a the sketch in mind and just did it like you wanted it! And it worked pretty good! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful fun layout Carole. I love beach huts and have always wanted to have a little stay in one, they always looks so cute and cosy. Love how you've built the hut around your photo, perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely seeing all your great layouts, and looking forward to seeing lots more and your Christmas journal too!

That's so cool how you incorporated the beach hut theme into this page!!! I absolutely love it! And funny, too, how it turned out being the most memorable part. Anyway, how are you? We're all fine over here, Ailis was so happy to hear your comment on her card. I came down here to my scrapping cave to work on my December Daily, but not sure how long I'll last - it's going very sloooooowly! But it's shaping up to look pretty nice, although not as drastic a departure from last year's as I originally thought. Ah well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Hugs, Roxy. P.S. - are you sure I can't persuade you to join in? I'm going to miss you!
ReplyDeleteLove this LO!! What happy memories and all your elements and accents are perfect for the photo.
