I know that I have done a few layouts of my boys, but you can't help what inspires you now, can you?!!!
I have to say, I think this one might be my new favourite - it's got loads of typical "Carole" elements, the kraft, pretty papers, punched flowers, and the most brilliant photo of Pickle and Arnold (and I can't claim to be the photographer, this was all down to Alex's patience with two wriggly subjects!)
I also love the sewing! If it wasn't such a nuisance to get my sewing machine out, I'm sure that I would do an awful lot more sewing on my cards and layouts! I sewed the border around the whole thing, the circle in the centre and then the strips of paper too! I also found out that it's not easy to sew a circle ... however, much to my amazement, I don't mind the slightly messy rows of stitches, in fact it might even add a little something (that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!)

ReplyDeleteas for the sewing machine, have you thought of one of those little ones... I bought one from asda last month, it was £12, in fact I actually used it for making the curtains in my attic (on blog)... it comes with a plug and foot pedal or you can use batteries in it...
(how did pickle get on today?)...xx
