Two Cards for One Day

Yesterday was a big day in the Griffin household - HUGE in fact.  It was a life changing day, if all went well, for myself and especially for Alex.

In the morning I gave her this card:

and I hoped that in the evening I would be able to give her this card :

which I did!!!  She passed her driving test!  I don't know who was more nervous yesterday, her or me!  She wanted it so badly that she would have been devastated if she had failed, but I was so proud of her, not only was it her first test but she only turned 17 three months ago!

Loving my new Snoopy stamp!!!  I actually bought it some time ago, but had been saving it for this occasion, and I love it!  Had a thing for Snoopy when I was a little girl.

Hopefully back tomorrow with my first day of this years Christmas Journal!

  1. Great cards Carole (love the stamp!!) and well done to Alex.
    Hugs xx

  2. woohoo congratulations on passing her test and fab card alma xx

  3. Wonderful cards Carole, I'm so chuffed for Alex! Love that snoopy stamp, how cute is that?!
Well it's December the 1st, so really looking forward to seeing your daily journal each day. Take a peek at Canny Crafters blog, found via my blog, she is doing one too, her projects are wonderful too!
Hope you got a chance to take a peek at those links.
BTW, my dream kitchen is not so much my dream kitchen at the moment, no stop probs with my dishwasher (after three weeks) fixed now, after a replacment. Now my washing machine is making the most horrible sounds, and have had to arrange for the engineer to call AGAIN!!!! And the leek under the flooring has caused loads of damage, and still having problems finding a carpenter and putting it through the insurance, grrrr!!! Not so cool as a cucumber anymore, I'm now starting to spit feathers!!!
I think I may just have to loose myself in a crafty project and forget all about it :) xxx

  4. Congratulations to your daughter for passing her test!!! love the cards, such a thoughtful mummy you are xxxx

  5. Awww, you are the sweetest Mum around!!! Congrats to Lexie, that is a huge moment, I remember it well! Now, what does she get to drive? I was allowed to drive a "73 Dodge Dart Swinger, and I was so embarrassed of it that I'd rather take the bus to school, haha! Really love that Snoopy stamp super cute! Hugs, Roxy.
