I was a little stumped about what to do for my cousin's little girl's first birthday, but then Pinterest came to my rescue (as I think it will on many occasions in the future, and the present!)
I made the monkey by cutting out two different size circles (head and ears), a heart shape for his eyes, and an oval for his mouth (the heart was a die, but the circles were with a compass and the oval was free hand) and then I matted him up on to some nesties cut from girly pink and white papers. A lot of Cuttlebug action on this card, but it was worth it I hope!

Such a lovely cute card Carole, I thought it was a die cut, it looks great! I'm sooo loving Pinterest too, thank you so much for telling me about it. Can't work out how to add your own work, I've tired but it just won't let me. I will return you call soon Carole, everyday has been a bit crazy with my sister being over, and trying to get all my crafty bits and bobs together for the swap. It will be lovely to catch up :)
