Perfect Kitchen Smash Page

I'm finding Smashing a little bit addictive (like most crafting to be honest!)  I know it took me a while to get going, but now that I have, there is no going back!  I shall continue to cover papers that I find impossible to work with, and work with the others (and there are many more that I like than I don't like).

I love how my Smash book is coming together, but I am wanting to scrap too, and also have a couple of urgent birthday cards to make - same old story, not enough hours in the day :(

  1. Hi Carole

I'm loving your Smash posts. I didn't really understand the phenomenon but as I read your posts I can kind of see where people are going with it - could become a very dangerous addiction methinks. I'm envisaging a Christmas shopping in New York Smash book?

Keep up the good work sweetie.

  3. Oooh, this is sooo lovely Carole, and what a scrummy kitchen, I think I would have to say, this is my dream kitchen too!

When we had a new Kithen put in last year, We could have gone for wooden knobs on our kitchen cuboards, and it took me forever to decide on what to go for, but in the end (and only by chance) someone mentioned to me (and not the kitchen fitter) that you couldn't have knobs on pull out larders as they simply are not strong enough!
So that was it, decision made, as I had wanted a pull out larder for sooooo long :)

It's amazing though, how much it changes the whole look of a Kitchen just by the handles you choose. I love my Oak worktops though, they give a lovely warmth to the kitchen and wouldn't change them for the world!

Like you, I am a real kitchen person too, it really is the heart of the home, love it!!! And much prefer the cosy kitchen look to modern and sleek any day of the week.

I could just see us crafting away on that lovely table Carole, sipping tea from those lovely Emma Bridgwater cups and eating some of your scrumming homemade cakes, bliss!!!!

Loving your Smash book and style, and think perhaps for my next Smashbook, I may do something like this one too!
